Company from Bremen supports Child Labour

One of the biggest German cotton traders supports child labour in Uzbekistan. This comes out of the research of the ARD-news magazine FAKT. Accordingly, Otto Stadtlander GmbH from Bremen maintains intensive business relations with Uzbekistan. The human rights organization “European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights” (ECCHR) wants to therefore file an official complaint against the company with the Federal Ministry of Economics. The Ministry is the national contact point for the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD). According to Miriam Saage-Maaß from ECCHR, the Otto Stadtlander GmbH has crossed boundaries.
