As the cotton harvest season is over in Uzbekistan, UGF presents findings of its 2016 monitoring of the Uzbek cotton harvest.
Based on the results of its monitoring, UGF once again raises serious concerns about ongoing child labor, including an increase in government mobilization of schoolchildren aged 14 and 15, and systematic mass adult forced labor in Uzbekistan’s cotton sector in 2016.
